Meet Our Team

Mark has been involved in the Financial Planning profession since the late 1980’s. He has been advising clients directly since the early 1990’s and prior to the establishment of GEM Capital worked with many of his existing clients at a leading Australian stockbroking firm. He has a keen interest in investment advice and enjoys helping people manage their financial affairs effectively that allows them to enjoy life. Mark in his spare time enjoys Photography. He is also an IT nerd.

Shannon has been providing advice to his clients since the late 1990’s. Shannon has been with GEM Capital Financial Advice (and previously Associated Planners) since 2001. Shannon has an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services and is a Fellow Chartered Financial Practitioner, and has completed the degree course Bachelor of Business, majoring in Financial Planning. Prior to him joining the Financial Planning profession, Shannon was a professional sportsman for 9 years, playing AFL football. In Shannon’s spare time he enjoys travel, movies and spending time with his family.

Felicity joined our business in 2006 after being personally referred to us. Fliss as she is known, has a keen sense of humour and a busy schedule which involves not only working at GEM Capital but also as a mother of two.

Emma has worked with us since 1998, during which time she has taken a short break to have two children. Emma plays Netball, enjoys music and the outdoors.

Melissa has been with us since 2000. Also a mother of two, Melissa is also responsible for maintaining GEM Capital's IT system in addition to paraplanning duties. Melissa also enjoys music and time with her family.
